• Terms and Conditions

    By placing an order or booking a service with our Cake and Confectionery Art Studio, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

    1. Orders & Payments

    • All orders are confirmed only upon receipt of the required advance payment.
    • No dates, designs, or time slots are reserved without advance payment.
    • The remaining balance (if any) must be settled as per the agreed timeline prior to delivery or collection.

    2. Allergies & Dietary Requirements

    • All allergies and dietary restrictions must be clearly disclosed at the time of booking.
    • While we take all reasonable precautions, our kitchen handles common allergens (including nuts, dairy, eggs, and gluten), and we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

    3. Cancellations & Refunds

    • Refunds are only eligible if an order is cancelled at least two (2) weeks in advance of the scheduled delivery or event date.
    • Cancellations made within two weeks are non-refundable, as preparations, sourcing, and scheduling will already be in progress.
    • Refunds, if approved, will be processed via the original payment method within 3-5 working days.

    4. Cake Tasting

    • A one-time cake tasting is available after advance payment is received, subject to availability.
    • Additional tastings, if requested, may be chargeable.

    5. Design & Custom Orders

    • Custom cake designs are handcrafted; minor variations in colour, texture, or decoration may occur and are considered part of the artisanal process.
    • Reference images are used for inspiration only and not for exact replication.

    6. Delivery & Logistics

    • Delivery services are available within Malé’ and Hulhumalé’ only.
    • For events, parties, or setups outside these areas, the client is responsible for arranging all logistics, including transportation, access, and setup requirements, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
    • The studio is not responsible for damages caused by improper handling after delivery.

    7. Kids’ Classes & Workshops

    • For children’s classes or workshops, the individual making the booking confirms that they are the child’s parent or legal guardian, or have full authorization to do so.
    • The studio is not responsible for children outside the scheduled class duration or without proper supervision as specified.

    8. Changes to Orders

    • Any changes to design, size, flavour, or date must be requested at least 14 days prior and are subject to approval and availability.
    • Late changes may not be accommodated and may incur additional charges.

    9. Food Safety & Responsibility

    • Once the cake or confectionery items are delivered or collected, proper storage and handling become the client’s responsibility.
    • We are not liable for deterioration caused by heat exposure, improper storage, or delays in consumption.

    10. Use of Images

    • Hanbun Studio reserves the right to use images of the products, for promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed.

    11. Right to Refuse Service

    • The studio reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders that are unlawful, inappropriate, or conflict with our values or operational capacity, with a refund of any advance paid where applicable.

    12. Acceptance of Terms

    • By placing an order, booking a class, or making a payment, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
